Our goal at the Barnes-Miller Child Development Center can best be described by our logo. Overall, our mission is to capture the whimsical joy of being a child! The children represent sports, the arts, and the arts of play. Each child is adorned with a large heart, symbolizing the gateway in which love travels back and forth. The star symbol was incorporated to show how every child is a star. The physics symbol represents the math and science portion of their experience with us. The swirl is the Celtic symbol for “eternal youth”. The field of stars behind the children represents their bright future!
We believe that children learn and develop at different levels and are inspired in different ways. We stress individual goals and provide an opportunity for children to learn from one another while feeling that their views are respected. They grow in an environment that is loving and secure, where they are able to build close bonds with their peers and their care givers. We strive for an environment where families are honored and parents are vital to building our community relationships.

We have absolutely loved being a part of the Barnes-Miller CDC. Our child always has the biggest smile on his face upon arrival and seeing all of his friends/caretakers. We have seen growth and developmental milestones met since starting and I know BMCDC has provided great support towards those goals. The exceptional care and communication has made for a wonderful experience and we feel so lucky to be a part of this community.

We LOVE Barnes-Miller! Tara and the teaching staff have been so wonderful. We are so appreciative of their ongoing patience and support as we work through all our toddler's big feelings. Highly recommend Barnes-Miller!

My youngest attends Barnes-Miller and she’s the youngest of 4. Between all my kids I’ve seen and been to my share of childcare centers. Barnes-Miller is by far my favorite. All the teachers and staff are so happy and friendly, it’s just a warm and inviting environment and my daughter looks forward to school everyday. I feel like I’m leaving her with family when I drop her off in the mornings. I’m so happy I brought my daughter here! She’s thriving, happy and so well cared for. I can’t recommend this childcare center enough.
